Events by Brawin is named the Events Coordinator for the Garfield Park Conservatory's Annual Fundraising Gala

On Friday, February 11th the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance will hold its' annual fundraising gala at the Garfield Park Conservatory located at 300 North Central Park Avenue in Chicago.  This year's theme is the Chocolate Tree Cabaret.

This dynamic event will include music from the Chicago West Jazz Ensemble, theatrics from the Redmoon Theater, international food stations and, of course, chocolate delights.

The $125 ticket price is partially tax deductible and all proceeds will go towards furthering the programs of the Conservatory.

The Chocolate Tree Cabaret will serve as the kickoff to the 6th Annual Chocolate Festival which will be held on February 12th and 13th from 11 am until 5 pm.

Built in 1907, Garfield Park Conservatory is a horticultural gem and a historic landmark.  The largest public conservatory in the country, Garfield Park displays exotic species of palms, ferns, cacti and aroids in landscaped settings under glass.  There are also beautiful outdoor gardens.

The Conservatory enjoys annual attendance of 150,000 visitors.  In 2002, due in large part to the blockbuster exhibit, Chihuly in the Park: A Garden of Glass, the conservatory saw a record of 500,000 visitors.  Today, the Garfield Park Alliance and the Chicago Park district continue to bring new exhibits to the Conservatory.
